Featuring Artist: Marnie Morat
Marnie Morat was born in Perth, Western Australia, where she completed a degree at Curtin University in graphic design.
She worked as a graphic artist in advertising agencies around Australia. Marnie has been living in the French island of New Caledonia in the South Pacific since 1993. She worked as a freelance designer and illustrator for several years before devoting her time to creating her own art.
Her first solo exhibition was held in Noumea in 1998. Since then she has held five other one-man shows and many group exhibitions. Her work is held in private collections around the world.
